🍇 The Rotten Grapes have been quietly fermenting… but now we’re ready to pop off!

6.5 weeks ago, we hit the stage at the Vietnam Improv Festival - and wow, what a ride!

From trophies to tragedy, and all the charisma and chaos in between - we were inspired to give something grounded, with a twist.

Since then, we’ve been off the vine, ripening in silence, brewing up new games, fresh chaos, and deeply questionable characters. And we’re nearly ready to serve you another round of juicy juice juice!

💜 Massive love to everyone who came to see us, screamed from the audience, laughed at our nonsense, or just vibed with the weird. And a huge thank you to all the incredible teachers and performers at VIF - we learned so much, and you inspired the heck out of us!!

💛 The Perched Nomads (Singapore): A traveler stands still while the world moves around them. What are the stories behind about this nomad?

💛 The Rotten Grapes (Vietnam): A celebration in town, with the story of the citizens sharing a special occasion. .improv

💛 Formosa Improv Group (Taiwan): Silence speaks louder than words. A show where movement, breath, and stillness tell stories beyond language.

💛 And with the duo of our 2 festival instructors, Pierpaolo and Luana, we'll be with a couple, real-time, in their living room. They love each other, sure, but each of them has a secret that they've been keeping.

🎭 New Year, New Me? Or... Same Me? 🎭

🚪 Welcome to Apartment Complex 2025, where the fresh start of a new year meets the unpredictable twists of real life. Some are making bold changes, some are clinging to old habits, and some—well, even they don’t know what’s next!

In this fully improvised show, we follow the lives of residents in an apartment complex as they navigate resolutions, reinventions, and the same old chaos of being human. Will they grow? Will they spiral? Will they even make it past January?

We won’t know until we hit the stage, because this is improv!

🔀 Long-form narratives collide with short-form spontaneity, creating a one-of-a-kind experience that could go anywhere—comedic, dramatic, heartfelt, or completely absurd.

🚪 Chào mừng đến với **Apartment Complex 2025**, nơi khởi đầu tươi mới của năm mới va chạm với những khúc quanh bất ngờ của đời thực. Có người thay đổi táo bạo, có người vẫn bám lấy thói quen cũ, và có người—chính họ cũng không biết điều gì sẽ đến!

Trong chương trình ứng tác hoàn toàn này, chúng ta sẽ theo chân cư dân của một khu chung cư khi họ xoay sở giữa những quyết tâm, những cuộc lột xác, và cả những hỗn loạn quen thuộc của kiếp người. Liệu họ có trưởng thành? Liệu họ có trượt dài? Liệu họ có vượt qua nổi tháng Giêng?

Chúng ta sẽ không biết trước—vì đây chính là **improv**!

P.S: If you're wondering about the Vietnamese order of name components, it's family name > middle name > given name. So in Quang's case, it's Trương as his family name, Minh as his middle name, and Quang as his given name. It reflects the value of families in our society. How cool and lovely!
