[HEROUM EXPLORE] Decentraland hosts new casino called Holy Temple

The popular metaverse world Decentraland has a new attraction - The Holy Temple Casino. It’s promising to bring real experiences like a real casino.

The Holy Ones is a community-first NFT project based around The Holy DAO. The latest addition to the ecosystem is The Holy Temple Casino. The Casino reflects the Holy vision, even down to the architecture.

The sheer size of the new metaverse casino will allow them to hold incredible events and become a party hub for the metaverse community. This will also include gaming, parties, events, and much more. The Holy Ones have worked hard to make this dream a reality.

The Holy Temple Casino will allow people to participate in the Holy One’s latest game releases against other players and the house. Furthermore, they have a vast gaming ecosystem. Games include Manamania (Metaverse Lottery), Holy War (a spin on the traditional high-card War game), and Blackjack.

[HEROUM EXPLORE] Emirates hires new 4000 cabin crew members to train in the Metaverse

At the Dubai Metaverse Assembly held last week, Emirates Airlines - the biggest airline in the UAE announced its plans to train new hires in the Metaverse. At the moment, the biggest airline in the country has 16,000 cabin crew members. By the end of the year, it plans on expanding to 20,000.

Those 4,000 crew members will undergo experimental training in VR. Using the Metaverse and VR goggles, the crew members will be able to walk through a simulated aircraft. This will help them learn everything from handling the galley to safety procedures.

This isn’t the first time Dubai’s revealed plans for the Metaverse. Back in April, the government of Dubai launched its Metaverse Strategy. The goal is to increase the number of companies working in the Metaverse, Blockchain, and crypto space.

Another hot topic NFTs are closely related to the metaverse is digital fashion. This is a huge area as people are keen on representing their unique styles in the digital realm, as well.
Many collaborations with well-known brands have already taken place in this regard. A noteworthy partnership was between the sportswear brand Adidas and NFT giants BAYC and Punks Comic, featuring a collection of 30,000 editions of an NFT.

🗡Play-to-earn NFT games
Games are at the heart of metaverse projects. Play-to-earn (p2e) models inspire gamers from all around the world since they enable gaining monetary incentives along with having fun. In these games, the in-game assets, like skins, swords, and heroes, are all NFTs. Thus, their buyers own them, unlike conventional video games.

[HEROUM EXPLORE] Elon Musk is officially buying Twitter!

⚡ On Tuesday, representatives of the billionaire notified Twitter through a letter that he intends to move forward with the tumultuous deal, confirming earlier reports that things were back on track.

Musk and Twitter were headed to court over the deal, with the Tesla and SpaceX chief executive claiming that Twitter had misled him over the number of bots that existed on the social network. However, it now seems that Musk no longer intends to press the issue. They are working with the original $44 billion deal.

Musk’s notice sent Twitter’s stock price rocketing more than 12%, above $47 per share.

[HEROUM EXPLORE] Coinbase CEO announces documentary on cryptocurrency and exchange

Coinbase co-founder and CEO Brian Armstrong announced in a series of tweets on Oct 4 that a crypto centric documentary capturing his journey of building a tech start-up from the ground up will be available this Friday on Amazon Prime, iTunes, Youtube, and other streaming platforms.

The documentary - “Coin: A Founder’s Story” intends to pull back the curtain and show people what it's really like to build a tech company and encourage others who want to do the same.

The CEO also said he hopes to show that tech founders are typically trying to create a product that people want, adding that “everyone working in crypto believes it can create a more fair, free, and global financial system.”

The CEO encouraged everyone to watch the film, including policymakers, as he believes it will help advance the cause of cryptocurrency, as well as show the motivations of many hard-working individuals steering the industry forward.

Nigerian record label owner and producer Don Jazzy introduced NFTs into the Nigerian music industry in 2021 and in doing so earned over $300,000. He worked with a digital artist, Jacon Osinachi, who produced three art pieces, and Don Jazzy created the background music.

In October 2021, Prince Jacon Osinachi became the first African NFT artist to have his work auctioned at Christie’s auction house in Europe. This young Nigerian is now recognized as Africa’s foremost crypto-artist who creates and sells his works digitally.

Talented artists like them can be found everywhere in Africa but not all of them are paid or have a chance to make their products popular internationally. NFTs make it easier for creators to increase their earnings, particularly in Africa.

NFTs allow artists to exhibit their work in front of a larger audience, they are no longer required to wait for customers to come in and purchase their artworks in an art gallery. NFT marketplaces make it easier to sell products to potential customers.
Stories like that of Jacon Osinachi demonstrate how NFTs may significantly increase the financial security of African artists. And in turn, it will inspire many people to pursue their artistic passions as a full-time career.

Between July and September 2022, the business posted revenues of approximately $35 million, as indicated by figures released by crypto asset data platform Token Terminal.
