Job Title: General Manager Assistant
Reports To: General Manager
Job Summary:
The General Manager Assistant will support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the theme park, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. The role involves handling administrative tasks, coordinating staff activities, assisting in strategic planning, and implementing operational procedures to enhance guest experiences, optimize safety, and improve the overall performance of the park.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Support:
Assist the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the theme park.
Monitor park activities, ensuring they align with company standards and objectives.
Coordinate and supervise the operations of various departments, such as attractions, guest services, food & beverage, and maintenance.
Assist in managing scheduling and staffing requirements to meet daily operational needs.
2. Administrative Assistance:
Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
Handle communication and correspondence on behalf of the General Manager.
Assist in financial management, including budget tracking, expense reports, and forecasting.
3. Team Coordination & Leadership:
Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure optimal performance.
Resolve employee issues, coordinate staff training, and support team development.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and customer service standards across all departments.
4. Customer Service:
Support the General Manager in implementing strategies to improve guest experience and satisfaction.
Handle guest complaints or issues and ensure resolutions are provided promptly and effectively.
Monitor park operations to ensure an enjoyable, safe, and memorable experience for visitors.
5. Strategic Planning:
Assist in long-term planning, including park events, promotions, and new initiatives.
Analyze performance data and provide recommendations for improvements in park operations.
Help develop and implement operational strategies to meet company goals and improve efficiency.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all park areas comply with health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
Help monitor compliance with park policies, including guest safety and staff behavior.
Assist in emergency response planning and crisis management procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the tourism or hospitality industry, preferably within a theme park or related attraction.
Experience in customer service, operations management, and staff coordination.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of park management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
