🦎🌴 Crucito Sundays — Episode 02
“Crucito Pick De Mango Too Soon!” 🥭😂

After last week's chicken trouble, Crucito decided this Sunday he wanted peace.

“No chickens. No running. No foolishness today,” he announced.

So Crucito grabbed his little basket and headed outside to check the mango tree.
And there it was.

🥭

The prettiest mango Crucito had ever seen.
Yellow on one side. Red on the other.
Crucito's eyes got BIG.
“Ooooooh! Look at you!”
He reached up.
Then stopped.
“Maybe you need one more day.”
He walked away.
Then came back.
🤔

“Or maybe you ready NOW.”
From behind him came…
Cluck.
Crucito slowly turned around.
🐓👀

It was THE CHICKEN.
“Don't even study my mango,” Crucito warned.
The chicken looked at Crucito.
Then at the mango.
Then back at Crucito.
“Listen,” Crucito said, pointing one little green finger. “Last week was enough trouble between me and you.”
CLUCK!
Crucito panicked.
“OH NO YOU DON'T!”
He jumped, grabbed the mango and pulled.
POP!
Down came Crucito.
Down came the mango.
And…
BONK! 🥭💥🦎

The mango landed right on Crucito's STX straw hat.
The chicken stared at him.
Crucito stared at the chicken.
Then the chicken walked away.
Slowly.
Almost like it was laughing.
🐓😂

Crucito dusted off his hat and proudly picked up his mango.
“See? I win this time!”
He took one BIG bite.
CRUNCH.
Crucito froze.
His whole face twisted.
“EH EH!!! DIS MANGO GREEN!” 😖🥭

From across the yard:
CLUCK! CLUCK! CLUCK!
Crucito pointed at the chicken.
“Don't laugh! You didn't know neither!”

🐓😂😂😂

🦎🐓 Crucito’s Island Adventures: “Chicken Get Away Again!”

It was a bright Saturday morning on St. Croix, and Crucito had one simple job.

“Crucito, make sure de chicken stay in de yard!”

“Easy!” Crucito said, straightening his little straw hat. “I got dis!” 😎

Well...

Five minutes later—

FLAP! FLAP! FLAP! 🐓💨

Crucito looked up.

The chicken looked at Crucito.

Crucito looked at the open gate.

The chicken looked at the open gate.

“Don't even THINK about it,” Crucito warned.

The chicken tilted its head.

Then—

BAP! BAP! BAP!

Straight through the gate it went!

“AYYYYY! CHICKEN GET AWAY AGAIN!” 😂

Crucito took off running.

Down the road they went—past the neighbor hanging clothes, around the corner by the flamboyant tree, straight past two people having a good morning lime.

“Morning, Crucito!”

“MORNING! I CAN'T TALK NOW!” 🏃🏽‍♂️💨

The chicken was moving like it had somewhere IMPORTANT to be.

Finally, Crucito stopped.

He thought for a second... 🤔

Then he pulled a little piece of johnny cake from his pocket.

The chicken stopped.

👀

“Ah-ha! NOW you interested!”

Two minutes later, Crucito was walking home with the chicken following peacefully behind him.

Crucito smiled proudly.

“See? I had everything under control.”

From the porch came a voice:

“CRUCITO... WHY DE GATE STILL OPEN?!”

Crucito froze.

The chicken looked at him.

Crucito looked at the chicken.

And from behind them...

🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓

THE REST OF THE CHICKENS RAN OUT.

Crucito threw his hands in the air.

“OH GOSH... CHICKEN GET AWAY AGAIN!” 😂😂😂

Kimberly Creations has a new little member of the family, and we’re excited to introduce him! 💚

Meet Crucito — our St. Croix Lizard!

Crucito is small, colorful, full of personality, and has plenty of BIG island spirit! 🇻🇮 He was created to celebrate everything we love about St. Croix—our culture, history, food, beautiful landscapes, people, humor, traditions, and those unmistakable Crucian vibes.

And this is only the beginning! 👀

You’ll soon see Crucito getting into all kinds of island adventures and popping up on new Kimberly Creations mugs, tumblers, magnets, stickers, keychains, bookmarks, shirts, bags and more.

Some days he might be at the beach. 🌊
Some days he might be chasing a yard fowl. 🐓😂
And don't be surprised if you find him eating mangoes, dancing to quelbe, enjoying Festival or just relaxing under a tree saying…

“I Good Right Here!” 😎🌴

We want Crucito to become a little character that makes us smile while celebrating the island we call home.
