Leandro Erlich’s artworks are taking over the Grand Palais for his first major solo exhibition in Paris.

Following exhibitions in Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Miami, Milan and Helsinki, France is presenting, for the first time in Paris, a comprehensive retrospective – featuring new works – dedicated to one of the most distinctive and influential artists on the contemporary scene.

The exhibition invites visitors to step beyond the threshold of the ordinary and enter a world where everyday architecture—houses, elevators, staircases, and urban façades—becomes the stage for a subtle yet powerful transformation, where illusion is not deception, but a source of knowledge, and the viewer is engaged with the artwork, becoming an active participant, encouraged not only to observe, but to question their own senses and certainties.

Park Avenue Armory
Céleste Boursier-Mougenot - clinamen
The show is over, but still resonating. One of the standout exhibitions of the summer!

Céleste Boursier-Mougenot recently presented his famous installation, clinamen, at Park Avenue Armory, New York, United States.

On this blue expanse, white porcelain bowls, set in motion by a gentle current, produced melodious and incantatory sounds. These acoustic vibrations, created without the intervention of a performer, form the heart of the piece – a true symphony of the moment, evolving with the flow of invisible waves.

The celebrated artist came to the Armory to mount the largest iteration to date of his ongoing aquatic and musical installation. Each moment in the installation’s life is unique, offering a sensory and temporal experience that is constantly renewing itself and in which each spectator is invited to listen, contemplate, and explore their relationship to time and sound as an individual and a collective experience.

On the invitation of the Frac Normandie and the Normandie Impressionniste Festival, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot presents a solo exhibition, points de suspension, which resonates with the architecture of the former 17th-century convent that houses the Frac. The artist proposes a reflection on garden space and the perception of landscape.
In the cloister courtyard stands a sound sculpture recalling the bandstands of the past: envolée, a circular arrangement of eight swings topped with as many antique church bells, whose rhythmic motion—set in movement by visitors—produces sound.

Saint-Pierre Church in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in France, dedicates a personal exhibition to Yves Bélorgey, Sous-bois.

For more than thirty years, Yves Bélorgey painted “building paintings”. Collective housing estates were the exclusive subject of his artistic practice and research. In recent years, however, a new motif has emerged in his work: the forest. Today, his work investigates the relationship between trees and buildings, vegetation and the built environment, architecture and the forest, with the concepts of dwelling and habitat as a backdrop.
How can painting give form to these questions?

During two stays in Corrèze (April 2020 and April 2025), he visited several forest sites around Tulle, including the Forest of Remembrance, planted thirty-two years ago at the initiative of Peuple et Culture in memory of the victims of 9 June 1944. Back in his studio, he began producing a new body of paintings and drawings. Six large-scale paintings (2.40 x 2.40 m) will be presented this summer in Saint-Pierre Church.

Vik Muniz presents the series Museum of Ashes, the central core for Aftermath of Memories, a new exhibition with the National Museum/UFRJ and the Projeto Museu Nacional Vive. The ashes associated with one of the greatest patrimonial losses in the country’s history take on a new form in photographs and sculptures that articulate art, science, memory, and reconstruction.

The exhibition occupies the place where the 2018 fire began, strengthening the program of dialogues with society about objects, images, and memories that seemed definitely lost. Using the very ashes collected from the fire’s rubble, Vik Muniz recreates artifacts that were part of one of the most important scientific and cultural collections in Latin America. The result is a profoundly moving exhibition that unites art, science, technology, and heritage in a reflection on loss, reconstruction, and permanence.
