We're so excited to announce that The Grandma Jo Scholarship is back!

Since the beginning of the Zumbrota Dance Studio, Robyn’s mom Joann Loppnow, better known to those around ZDS as Grandma Jo, was the studio’s biggest fan. From sewing costumes to selling tickets, she never passed up an opportunity to help out and never missed a performance.

In the spirit of Grandma Jo’s selflessness and generosity, we are thrilled to continue the Grandma Jo Scholarship for the second year. This scholarship will help a ZDS student cover tuition, costumes and more to continue their love of dance.

New space = new classes!

This year we are excited to offer a class exclusively for dancers with special needs and disabilities taught by ZDS alum Jen Klein. You might know Jen from her work as a special education teacher at ZM schools, but she is a long time member of the ZDS family who is excited to help bring a welcoming, inclusive environment for dancers of all abilities to the studio. Reach out to [email protected] with any questions!

HOLY COW! The turnout for our open house was overwhelming and incredible! Thank you to everyone who came to see the space - we hope you love it as much as we do and we can’t say thank you enough for your patience as we worked through the lines 💜

We also have to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped get us to this point! This move was a labor of love with hundreds of hours of painting, installing flooring, hanging mirrors & barres, packing, unpacking, organizing and more all packed into two short months. It would not have been possible without many helping hands - THANK YOU!

We can’t wait to see everyone in our new home when classes start on Sept. 14 🩰
