I’ve always believed you should stand behind the services you offer 🖤

Personally, I could never offer something I wouldn’t get done myself. It feels weird going to an artist for a specialty they don’t even trust enough to wear themselves 👀

That’s like:
✨ going to a hairstylist whose hair is fried off
✨ going to a nail tech with no nails
✨ going to a fitness coach who never works out
✨ or going to a makeup artist that never wears makeup

Your artist should believe in the work they provide.

So tomorrow… it’s my turn
I’m getting my eyeliner done and honestly I’m SO excited because I already know how much easier it’s going to make my life.

No smudging.
No sweating it off.
No reapplying.
Just waking up cute. 😂

As an artist, I think it’s important to experience the healing process, the appointment, and the results personally too because it helps me better understand and educate my clients from BOTH sides of the chair. It also allows you to be more empathetic to your clients, how are you going to be empathetic towards them if you don’t have a clue to what it’s like? My brows are already done, now its eyeliner time 🖤

If a flower doesn’t bloom, do you blame the flower… or do you check the environment it’s trying to grow in?

If your plant isn’t thriving, you don’t attack the plant. You check the soil, the sunlight, the air, the water, the environment around it.

We’re no different.

If you’re not growing into the person you want to become, look around you. Who are you talking to every day? Who’s in your circle? What consumes your thoughts? How are you spending your time? Your environment either feeds your growth or slowly kills it.

Visualize the highest version of yourself then start showing up as her.

Every time someone tells me I can’t do something, I laugh to myself because clearly… they don’t know me. They don’t know what I’ve survived. I’ve already made it through things that were meant to break me.

People will try to shake you because your growth makes them uncomfortable. They’ll tell you to “be realistic.” Meanwhile, I know exactly who I am. I’m an intelligent woman, and I fully believe I can build the life I want.

Growth requires change. Sometimes you outgrow people. Sometimes you outgrow environments. And that’s okay. Not everyone is meant to grow with you.

One of the best things I ever did was leave behind everything and everyone I knew back home. It forced me to grow, heal, evolve, and become stronger.

Stop speaking negatively over your life. Stop saying “I’m broke.” Stop saying “I’ll never have that.” Stop focusing on what you lack and start appreciating what you do have while speaking life into what you’re working toward.

Speak intention over yourself daily when you wake up, throughout the day, and before you sleep. Say your goals out loud. Move like the person you’re becoming. Surround yourself with people you admire and aspire to be like.

This isn’t “fake it till you make it.”

This is intentional growth.

Your mind begins believing what your actions consistently reinforce. The way you speak to yourself matters. The way you see yourself matters.

Manifest growth. Speak life into yourself. Water yourself the way you would a flower you desperately wanted to bloom. - Hexe Ink 🖤

Just a quick update for my clients 💕

I was notified this past weekend that my business phone was not working properly. Calls were not allowing voicemails to be left, and text messages were not coming through correctly.
