The legacy of Marjorie Holzschuher Sellers we are carrying on with much pride In 1933 during the depression era. Marjorie taught in the Elks ballroom at that time and did recitals at the Weller Theater moving forward to the municipal auditorium (Secrest) and then she moved to 39 S 7th and in 1971 built the amazing studio at 51 S 7th that we are sharing with our clientele and wonderful dance family
As for myself, I have been Ohio Dance Masters President, National President of Dance Masters of America, the 2022 recipient of Lifetime Achievement awardee of with I am so proud and current treasurer of ODM
7th Street is an exceptional area of artist, church's and homesteads.
We sometimes feel left out with poor street lighting, lack of crosswalks, the nice planters that are on other main traveled streets and no on street parking (the only downtown street that has no on street parking)
BUT we are surviving, as we have 4 state routes that travel our small community and enjoying the splendor and attractions that we have to offer.
Once again thank you for supporting not only the arts but our community ❤️
