Legacy’s Mission Statement

Legacy means heritage and that is our studio. We have a 44 year history, of sharing the love of the performing arts and passing down our knowledge through generations. Our goal is to give to our youth a sense of confidence in themselves, with encouraging motivation and loving guidance. This teaches them to handle life’s situations with truth, honesty and grace. Our purpose is to touch these beautiful souls and give them the skills to perform, to the best of their ability, in which God has intended for them. This philosophy has been passed down from its onset in 1975. Teaching proper technique is the key to making our students the best. Technique is what we focus on and is necessary to instill the love of the art. Along with promoting good character, it also builds mental awareness and a drive to succeed. We are presently working on the fourth generation of students and we hope this generation to be the best yet. Over the many years we have prided ourselves with running an organized, responsible and accountable business. This is something we believe in and think our students and parents deserve. We have learned a lot over the years and have made changes wherever necessary in order to reach the ever changing young mind. We are constantly continuing to grow in our knowledge of our arts and our instructors bring decades of experience, energy and innovation. Each have unique lives but all share their love of their art and a desire to pass that love on……… to pay it forward.
