We were so happy to be able to play a small part in helping out our local Zachary Food Pantry, Inc.!!! Thank you to everyone that donated!! Our balloon flight winner for the donations of 3 or more items was Liz Sagely!!!

Thank you to the Zachary Really Hot Air Baloon Festival for collecting 192 pounds of food for our pantry. You make Zachary soar in so many ways!

Last night, our community showed up to the 4th annual Really Hot Air Balloon Festival in an incredible way. Families filled the grounds, vendors brought their very best, balloons filled the sky, music filled the air, and thousands of people came together to enjoy an evening we worked incredibly hard to create. To every attendee, vendor, volunteer, sponsor, balloon team, performer, first responder, and community partner who helped make the evening possible, thank you.

When a situation arose late in the evening with conflicting initial reports, we made the safest choice possible: to end the festival early out of an abundance of caution. The safety of our guests, vendors, volunteers, and community will always come first.

But we don’t want the final hour to define the many hours that came before it, or the future of this event.

We will take what we learned this year, build upon what worked, improve where we can, and continue working with our public-safety partners throughout the planning process.

This festival was created to bring people together, and that purpose hasn’t changed. To everyone who came out and supported us: thank you for being part of year four.

We are excited for The Really Hot Air Balloon Festival’s future and hope to welcome our community back for Year Five. Bigger. Better. Safer. Together.
