SGY Family - WE'RE TAKING THE FUN BEHIND THE BOOT!

We've got something NEW for our SGY family, and you're invited!

Introducing Stompin' Ground Yuma's BEHIND THE BOOT Community!

We love seeing y'all out on the dance floor, grabbing the mic at karaoke, and making memories with us. But why should the fun stop when the event ends?!

We wanted a place where we could connect with YOU beyond our regular events and share a little more of what goes on behind the scenes!

🌟 Here's what you'll find BEHIND THE BOOT:

👀 Sneak peeks & insider updates
🗳️ Exclusive polls & opportunities to have your say
👢 Dance refreshers, tips & practice resources
🎤 Karaoke fun, song requests & memorable moments
📸 Event photos, videos & behind-the-scenes shenanigans
❤️ A place to connect with your SGY friends!

Our regular page isn't going anywhere! We'll still share all our event announcements, flyers, and updates right here.

But Behind the Boot? That's where YOU get to be part of the conversation! 🙌

Whether you're a regular at our events, brand new to SGY, or just getting ready to join us for the first time, there's a spot for you!

COME ON IN & JOIN THE FUN!

Our October Level-Up dance is Fever Dream! I'm really excited about this one 🤩

And yeah…this one is definitely intermediate. 😂 But it is SO much fun.

Erin will slow it down, break it apart, and we will work through it together at 6:00. You don’t have to get every step. You don’t even have to attempt every step! Come try it, follow along with what you can, or just hang out and cheer everybody on.

And there’s another reason we really want you there…

Fever Dream AND Pieces to the Puzzle (Damn I Love Miami) can be danced to the SAME SONG! 🙌

And we know a whole bunch of you already know and love Pieces.
So once the lesson is over and we open up the dance floor, we can have Fever Dream on one side and Pieces on the other.

One song. Two dances. Split floor. And everybody gets to dance. ❤️

So if you watched this video and thought, “Nope, Erin. Not a chance.” 🫣 That's okay! Come at 6:00 anyway. Watch us struggle—I mean LEARN—and then bring your Pieces to the Puzzle when the floor opens up right after the lesson!

IT’S OFFICIAL — STOMPIN’ GROUND DANCE HQ IS NOW AVAILABLE ON BOTH APPLE & ANDROID! 🎉👢

After a whole lot of building, testing, fixing, improving, submitting, resubmitting…and plenty of late nights along the way 😅…we can finally say it:

Stompin’ Ground Dance HQ is LIVE!

We built this app because we wanted one place where line dancers could do more than just look up a dance. We wanted something that helps you learn, keep track of what you know, discover what’s next, find events, connect with instructors, and be part of the line dance community.

With Stompin’ Ground Dance HQ, you can:

• Explore a growing Dance Library and search by dance, song, artist, choreographer, level, and more.
• Get connected to trusted dance resources including available CopperKnob, BootStepper, demo, and tutorial links.
• Track the dances you’ve completed and build your personal wishlist.
• Earn achievements, build streaks, and celebrate milestones as you keep dancing.
• Discover classes and events locally and around the world.
• Connect with instructors and keep up with what they’re teaching.
• Chat and connect with other dancers and be part of a growing line dance community.

Whether you’re learning your very first dance or you’ve been on the floor for years, the goal is simple:

Give line dancers one place to learn, track, discover, connect, and keep dancing.

And before we go any further, we want to give a HUGE thank you to the instructors around the world who volunteered their time to test the app, explore the features, give us honest feedback, report issues, and share their reviews with us.

Your input helped us improve the app in ways we simply could not have done on our own. We are incredibly grateful to every instructor who took the time to help us make Stompin’ Ground Dance HQ better for dancers and instructors everywhere.

This app was not built in a bubble — it was shaped with help from the line dance community, and we’re proud of that.

And this is only the beginning. We already have more ideas in the works, and we can’t wait to keep growing it with all of you.
