We couldn’t wait any longer for his name reveal! 😃 According to Warner Brothers Cartoon, “George Joesph Jetson (possibly born on July 31, 2022) is a fictional character and the 40-year-old father of the Jetson family in 2062.” If you all remember this cartoon, there were flying cars and a robot 🤖 housekeeper…. Hmmmm we are close #america!

Meet Tootie, she is a Amazon Parrot 🦜 She has been apart of the family for about 5 months now & your favorite tour guide, Michael is her favorite.
🦜 She has learned his name & when you visit the sloth encounter you will often hear her calling his name.
🦜 She has an extensive vocabulary. She says hello, goodbye, and my back hurts to name a few. Occasionally she will call out for Tosha. “My back hurts” is by far one of the funniest things she says!

🌅 check out the Père David’s deer from last nights sunset. They were very active & grunting. Their grunt sounds much like a lion. Cool fact for the day: our neighbors thought there was a lion 🦁 come to find out it was the Pere David’s. They are also known to make a clicking noise coming from their hooves. They are also known as the swamp deer as you will often find them in the water when you visit Southland Safari.

On this Sunday, we are spending some time reflecting back on awesome photos our visitors have shared + reviews left. We will share with you as well! We hope you enjoy as much as we do!

Our team is lucky to have two doctors that allow us to take time out of the office to bond & enjoy experiences with one another. Today was one for the books! We enjoyed a VIP Tour, fed the animals, pet a sloth, a fox, a kangaroo & stole a few giraffe kisses. We can’t say enough good things about @southlandsafaritn!

Before we headed back to the office, we made a very quick stop at @jandjgeneralstore to grab some delicious pizza! If you’re ever in “The Burg” make sure to stop!
