We’re officially in our test patch era… and yes, the pun stays. 🎃

As Wah Wah Ranch grows our farming operation, we’re thinking about adding pumpkins to the mix! So this year, we planted a trial run of 4 pumpkin varieties to see what can handle Oklahoma weather, ranch life, and our ambitious farming dreams.

Science? Agriculture? Seasonal chaos? All of the above.

If all goes well, someday you just might be buying your pumpkins from Wah Wah Ranch.

For now… we watch, we water, we wait, and we try not to get too emotionally attached to vegetables.

And speaking of fall… 🍂📸

This autumn, you’ll also be able to reserve a spot for fall photos at the ranch! If you'd love a farm & ranch backdrop with a mix of sunflowers, pumpkins, horses, pond views, fences, fields, and all the cozy country vibes — send us a PM!

Want the full ranch experience? You can even rent one of our horses for your photo session for a small additional fee.

For those following Val's journey (Dash Ta Valhalla), I’m beyond thrilled to share that his next chapter with Lyndsey Tucker is off to an incredible start!

I had the joy of meeting Lyndsey and Val's new owner, Mr. Greg Denney, last week at the BBR World Finals in OKC, and let me just say—our “baby” is exactly where he’s meant to be. Their energy, vision, and love for Val couldn’t feel more aligned with the dreams we’ve always had for him.

Greg and Lyndsey have big dreams—NFR-level dreams—and all of us here at Wah Wah Ranch are cheering them on with daily prayers for safety, success, and growth. We’ve been manifesting Val’s moment at the NFR for years—literally. Every step of his journey, and every hand that’s touched it, has been part of a bigger plan.

One of the most important hands in that journey has been Lydia Butler, who has spent the last 18 months training and shaping Val into the horse he is today. Her dedication, patience, and belief in him have been instrumental in getting him ready for this next chapter. Lydia, thank you for pouring your heart and skill into this horse—we are forever grateful.

Truthfully, the decision to part with Val was so hard. But now, it’s so clear: God is doing something with Lyndsey that we only dreamed of doing ourselves. This is the dream for any breeder—to see a horse you raised step into the life they were born for, with the people they were meant for.

Val’s story is a heart story—a journey carried by four women across two generations. My mom, Shanna Chechovsky Lawson, Adrian McFarland, Ruth Home McFarland, and I have poured so much love and prayer into him from the beginning. There has never been a horse more loved.

So go forth, Val—this is your destiny. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Denney and Lyndsey for allowing me to share this. Your faith in Val, and in all of us who brought him here, means more than words. He’s truly one in a million... and the world is about to know it.
