From Governor Gavin Newsom regarding last night's debate....
Folks, Listen.
I was at the debate last night. I watched it. I tried to keep track of Trump’s lies as it went on and I ran out of paper.
On the substance, Joe Biden won the debate last night.
That is what matters to me.
Don’t look at 30 minutes — Look at the last three-and-a-half years under Joe Biden.
It's been a master class: 15.6 million jobs created — 8x more than the last 3 Republican presidents combined; gun safety legislation; lowering the cost of prescription drugs; an infrastructure package to rebuild this country.
Joe Biden has delivered — and we need to deliver for him in this moment — for him, and for Democrats everywhere.
We're talking about the fate and future of our democracy, this country and the world. They all need us right now.
That's what I intend to do, and I hope you'll join me.

As a DNC Delegate myself, I now know why Trump didn't do any debate Prep. Because it doesn't take any Prep to lie.
Trump was the student body candidate who was just there to tell you he could give you three hour lunches and four days, and he knew he was lying to you. Trump lied and lied. From babies being aborted after they were born to "Illegal Mexicans" murdering millions and millions of Americans once they were here, Trump lied. The old joke held true with Trump last night; "How do you know when Trump is lying?" Answer: "HIs lips are moving!"
How does anyone debate lies and completely false substance.
Also in particular, I am in Broadcasting. On a daily basis I create sound bytes that often times have to be two minutes or less. That's a tough standard even when you are not under the preassure Joe Biden was under. The debate format was very different and favored Trump who is a skilled, professional liar.
Meanwhile, President Biden was expected to over deliver, while Donald Trump just had to accomplish not flying off the handle.
President Biden delivered substance, while PO`113589 just made it up. Yet Chuck Todd, Nor Hailley Jackson or Savannah Gutherie had the intelligence or motivation to call Trump out on his lies. But why should they? They make more money this way?
