Wow… what an absolutely incredible day at Ypsi Pride 🏳️🌈❤️
Yesterday was one of those days that reminds you exactly why Pride matters. From the first performance to the very last song, Ypsilanti
showed up with love, joy, acceptance, and an incredible sense of community.
A huge thank you to Sidetrack Bar & Grill for welcoming Boylesque and hosting our Ypsi Pride Kick-Off Drag Brunch. What an amazing way to
start the celebration! The energy, the laughter, the love, and the support in that room were truly unforgettable.
Thank you to everyone who came out to Riverside Park for Drag Queen Storytime. Seeing families, friends, and members of our community come
together to celebrate inclusion and simply enjoy a little joy was incredibly special. ❤️
And then… Sticks Bar Ypsilanti for the after party! What a way to close out the night! Thank you to SirGuy for joining us and bringing even more energy to the celebration. A huge thank you to Lana Sevol and DJ Kyle for helping us close out the night! There was singing, dancing, laughter, and so much love in that room. It was nothing short of AMAZING.
Pride is important. Pride is about being seen. Pride is about being accepted. Pride is about creating a place where people can show up exactly as they are and know that they belong.
And Ypsilanti sure does have PRIDE. 🌈
I am incredibly grateful to my drag son, Redness, and to the entire Ypsi Pride Board for including Boylesque in this year’s programming.
Thank you for trusting us, welcoming us, and giving us the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful to this community.
To everyone who attended an event, bought a ticket, laughed with us, sang with us, danced with us, hugged us, supported us, or simply showed up — THANK YOU.
You made yesterday unforgettable.
Happy Pride, Ypsilanti. ❤️🏳️🌈
Here’s to love. Here’s to community. Here’s to being exactly who you are.
And here’s to many more Pride celebrations together.
