The final story workshops are done just in time for Jane Fink, Samantha Banda, Kate Astrakhan, Justin Reynolds, Marsi Darwin and Greg Teachout to share the stories behind special photographs at the upcoming "Snapshots," at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 13 at Ugly Dog Distillery in downtown Chelsea.

It's a strong lineup of stories. We hope to see you there.

Thanks so much to all of you who were able to make it out to one of the "Snapshots" in Chelsea. It was terrific seeing you all and spending an evening with you. A profound thank you to the storytellers -- Peter Stipe, Jenn McKee, Susan Morrel-Samuels, Amanda Loveland, Steve Daut and Linda Dunlop Meloche for sharing your stories and to Cameron Getto for his music.

We're very pleased to announce the lineup of storytellers for our next edition of "Snapshots" (7:30 p.m. Feb. 6-7, 2019, at Bona Sera Underground). We are extremely pleased and proud to announce that Pencilpoint Theatreworks has arranged to sponsor its first Guest Artist Speaker Series in conjunction with Ypsilanti Community High School. Our first guest artist will be the accomplished and award-winning director Jonathan Wilson, a professor of Theatre and Drama at Loyola University Chicago, where he teaches courses in acting and play direction. During his tenure at the university, he has directed more than 40 productions for the Theatre Department. He is also actively involved as a stage director in the professional theatre in Chicago and around the country.

Professor Wilson will speak to the YCHS students in the morning Nov. 7 and will conduct a workshop with drama students in the afternoon.
