YCS is excited to see everyone tomorrow for the 9th Annual Jazz in the Parking Lot at Shadford Field from 6–9 p.m., featuring headliner Sean Dobbins Trio!
Bring your family and friends for an evening of great music, delicious food, and community fun. We'll have a variety of community vendors, food trucks—including Jimma's BBQ, Addison's Lemonade, Motor City Sweet Treat Truck and Rock the Bar with refreshing slushies—plus tours of the new WCC Mobile Classroom and activities from the Ypsilanti District Library Bookmobile.
We've also been keeping a close eye on the weather. The latest forecast shows the Canadian wildfire smoke clearing out by Saturday, with air quality expected to improve. While there's a slight chance of light rain before 6 p.m., we plan to move forward with the event as scheduled. We'll only make changes if severe weather or heavy rain develops, and at this time, that risk remains low.
