Art by Zaheroux is the studio name for Michigan-based artist Megan Weber. Her original work is created using traditional mediums such as color pencil, and ink.

Her work is inspired by nature, animals, and magic with whimsical and Gothic notes intertwined. I am unavailable for custom/commission work.

🦁 Dandelions hold a special place for me. They are so simple and pretty, full of childhood memories. What better way to embrace their playful look with a play on the word.

🌞Blessed Lammas/Lughnasadh! 🌾
For this Lammas, I wanted to share some insight to the oracle card from my Azúcar Bone Oracle:
🌾 This card represents the beginning of harvest and the coming of fall. The wheat is the product of the seeds we have sown, which we now can gather and celebrate. The dog skull represents the diligence and hard work watching over our fields.
🌾 What is an oracle card or oracle deck? This type of deck is another form of cartomancy. These decks can feature any theme or images to provide guidance. They can be used with or without tarot, in or without a card spread. I, personally, consider them similar to interpreting dreams.

Snippets of my shadowboxes! Some fun facts:
🌟 These are HAND CUT and HAND ASSEMBLED to give my art new depth.
🌟 I am a one-woman show, all boxes are created by me.
🌟 I use reproduction prints of my original artwork to create these. My originals are made with color pencil.
🌟 Each shadowbox takes 6-8 prints and anywhere between 6-10 hours to produce.
🌟 These, plus 5 more with different art, will be available for purchase at the Oddities and Curiosities Expo next month in Michigan! I’ll be at both Detroit and Grand Rapids. See you soon!

Blessed Beltane! 🌞
For this Beltane, I wanted to share some insight to the oracle card from my Azúcar Bone Oracle:
🌞 This card represents the middle of spring. We begin to feel more of the Sun’s warmth and find ourselves wanting to be outside enjoying the colors of spring. The fire of the season is beginning to build inside us as we dance around the May pole.
