A Message from RAC Executive Director, Liz Warren:

Dear Friend of Riverside,

If you've ever walked past our building and heard music drifting from a rehearsal, or laughter spilling out of a classroom, you already know something important about this place: Riverside Arts Center is alive because of people like you.

Keeping a space like this strong and accessible takes intention. It's built by people who believe that creativity, connection, and opportunity should remain within reach for everyone in this community. That's why I'm inviting you to become a monthly donor.

Today is Ypsi Fine Arts Club Day! Join us in this magical sharing of creativity with your community!

Doors at 5pm, Presentations at 5:30pm.

Today's Ypsi Fine Arts Club Raffle Artist is Sue Oblender!

"I have always been attracted to fiber arts, including embroidery and weaving. Living in an apartment, it just wasn’t conducive to having a loom given the space and noise. I discovered beading by accident and was immediately hooked. I started with stringing and soon took classes in various bead weaving techniques. About 10 years ago, I took my first Kumihimo class, but didn’t do much with it. Three years ago, I picked it back up and have fallen in love with it. "

We will be raffling off Sue's work: Black Java." The piece is a 7-inch beaded Kumihimo 8-strand half-round braid with Indonesian Java glass and black, red, yellow, and white seed beads. The closure and end caps are brass.

Raffle Tickets can be purchased in-person at YFAC for $5 or 5 tickets for $20.

This Friday: Riverside Swings in the Dance Studio!

Each week always features a free beginner lesson from 8-9pm, followed by the social dance from 9 - late.

The social dance is $5, and $4 for students.
