A guild of stage combat and stunt performers that provide training, choreography, and performances!

We are dedicated to evolving the art of martial storytelling to show, not tell, the narrative. Actions break the barriers of language, and we believe in using our action to portray the story of violence in a way that furthers the story and resonates with audiences.

Congratulations to this incredible cohort for passing their Fight Directors Academy Intermediate tests in smallsword, longsword, rapier and dagger, and martial arts unarmed!

Shout out to Tammy Everett and Joe Wright for leading these badass warriors the last 2 weeks, and to Daniel Levinson of Rapier Wit, Stage and Screen for the stellar adjudication. We are so proud of everyone! ⚔️💙

Thank you to Ann Arbor District Library for having us present stage combat and swashbuckling fun with swords! (And daggers, fists, feet, shields, sticks, knives, cloaks, and more.) We loved bringing Shakespeare, pirates, Peter Pan, and demons to life with our demonstrations.

Happy Opening to three of our badass gladiators and the creative team of "Athena" at Theatre Nova! If you get a chance, go see these fabulous fencing femmes and fight direction by our own Joe Wright through August 9. Come for the fencing, stay for the beautiful story.

Congratulations to our summer 2026 cohort for passing their SPTs! 🎉💙 We had a spectacular evening of smallsword, longsword, and sword & shield fights that delighted and entertained. Shout out to Leraldo Anzaldua for the phenomenal adjudication, and to all of the friends who came to support and cheer everyone on. Y'all kicked ass!

Our students take a stab at choreography as our month of smallsword exploration reaches it's conclusion. Now they refine techniques and scenes as they prepare for a July test!
