JOHN COX (Robert Shaw) This show has been on my radar for several years. Thank you Brendan for submitting the idea and casting me. Honored to be part of your Directing debut. Chuck and Corban…my brothers! This journey has been so much fun. Thank you boys! Playhouse crew’s are top notch and are essential for a shows success. Thank you to ours!
When not touring the comedy, Couples Therapy, John is a Pediatrician in Canfield and Board President of The Youngstown Playhouse. Thanks to Robert Shaw for being an absolute original. It has been fun stepping into your shoes for a while. Thanks to my family for allowing me to play with my friends. Farewell and adieu!

CORBAN BAKER (Roy Scheider) Youngstown Playhouse debut! I'm a former TV News Anchorman, commercial actor, and stand-up comedian. This is my first stage production. I'd like to thank my wife for her support and encouragement for this show, and to thank my two young daughters for their patience and understanding when Daddy has had to come home from work, but then leave again soon for rehearsal. I love you all!

🦈Meet the Cast of THE SHARK IS BROKEN🛥

CHUCK KETTERING (Richard Dreyfuss). Youngstown Playhouse: Outside Mullingar (Anthony), The Mystery of Irma Vep (Lady Enid, Nicodemus, Alcazar, the Mummy, the Werewolf), The Homecoming (Lenny), Macbeth (Banquo); Hopewell Theater: The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (Ransom Foster), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Brick); Salem Community Theater: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (R.P. McMurphy). In addition to the multiple roles he's played onstage, Chuck has worked backstage on twice as many in a variety of capacities. Ironically, he has performed in multiple Shakespeare productions and at least one play written by Harold Pinter. Some shows have been well-received critically, but made no money. And some have been blockbusters that maybe weren't particularly good. It's up to you to decide which category this one falls into.
