Early 1990's - One of my hand painted fine art banners installed in front of the Butler Art Museum... Some of them stood up very well to the weather and looked good for 15 years without any washing or additional clear coating. The ones in direct sun exposure only looked good for about 10 years until needing attention.

In Randolph Vermont a mural that I designed and painted 13 yr.s ago was recently destroyed. Some said it was too much of a representation of the K*K. The original major critics were from outside of the community.

Notions of the K*K never came any where near my thoughts or those of the clients when I designed and painted this mural or when the school originally adopted the long held Galloping Ghost school mascot image. The proliferation of such egocentric fear driven social justice warriors with unrealistic intimidations and distortions is troubling. These are some of the folks who we pay to teach and influence our children. A truly sad commentary for our society's future that represents it's own teachable moment. A majority of folks within and outside of the community were not in support of destroying the mural and the design.
