The Youngstown Film Festival is thrilled to be back for our milestone 5th Year!

Early Bird submissions are officially open, meaning now is the time to submit your project for the deepest discounts of the season.

To celebrate Year 5, we are rolling out four exciting new categories:

🌀 Beyond the Box: Highlighting films that push the limits of conventional filmmaking and truly think outside the box. We wanna see your brave, weird, wild, and unhinged work!

🌰 Best Ohio Film: Celebrating exceptional independent cinema produced entirely within the state of Ohio.

🪓 Best Horror Film: Bringing fun, elevated, and thrilling horror to the big screen.

✒️ Best Writing: Honoring the killer dialogue, plot twists, and masterful storytelling that keep us glued to our seats.

Tickets for the 4th Annual Youngstown Film Festival are official on sale! The festival is on May 30th at Penguin City - Youngstown, OH

We will be showing films from all over the world as well as our backyard! We have an incredible lineup planned as well as some great Q&A's with the filmmakers, special Penguin City perks, and even a film from an Academy Award Nominated Actor!!
