Opening tonight, July 24 from 6-8, the Ossining Arts Council's show, Revolutionary 250: An Art Exhibition.
My piece (pictured in closeup) is called "Allies," and features George Washington and native chief Daniel Nimham.
The show runs until August 15, 10-2 on Saturdays, noon to 4 on Sundays.
It is at the Jug Tavern of Sparta, 74 Revolutionary Road in Ossining.
Come if you can! There will be an artists' talk on August 9.

City celebrates its inaugural inclusion in prestigious Upstate Art Weekend June 25-29

An introduction, by former Peekskill Arts Alliance head Robin Kline, to Peekskill's newly completed art trail. Next week's events will begin where she is standing (at the Central, at 300 Railroad Ave.), with a ribbon-cutting on June 25 at 4:30 PM.
Many festivities to follow, on the 26th and 28th, with transportation to and from downtown to the riverfront! Check out peekskillart.com or hudsonvalleymoca.org for event, performance, and panel timing.

Calling all artists, friends of artists, and fans of art! Celebrate Peekskill, a great Hudson River arts hub, and enjoy the new art trail that wends its way from the station up to downtown.
Ribbon cutting at the railroad station in front of the Central on the 25th at 4:30; art trail walk (and ride, with free transportation) on the 26th, and stimulating talks about the project and the art on the 28th, at Hudson Valley MOCA.
