Sneak Peak of a special piece from my senior show! I’m so scared to be this emotionally vulnerable, but I think it’s a perfect send off for my college career 🖤 —————————————————————Memories are as fragile as a mirror, they break into shards and it’s hard to pick up every piece possible. Sometimes it’s not worth it, and even if you managed to it can be painful or not as accurate as you remember. To grieve the loss of a loved one or someone special, in my own opinion, is to accept the loss of those shards and knowing you’ll never be able to complete the memory with them ever again. I find peace in knowing that the missing shards are with her though, because that means one day I’ll find them again. My mother’s memory will live on in my own reflection, and I want her to know that I’m happier now without her suffering every day. I love you Mom, this one’s for you 💕 —————————————————————
