Thank you to all who've attended our 2026 Hispanic Heritage Month Free Film Series screenings so far! Our final film is the biographical drama A Million Miles Away, inspired by the real-life story of NASA flight engineer José Hernández - selected by Jackie Hernandez! 👨‍🚀🚀

MEET YOUR COMMUNITY HOST:
Jackie Hernandez is the Community Navigator at Tec Centro York, where she is dedicated to helping families and overcome barriers to education, employment and self-sufficiency. Jackie also serves as the Treasurer of the Hispanic Coalition of York and a Board Member of the Catholic Harvest Food Pantry. She is an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she enjoys volunteering and serving her community.

Don Kinnier of the Susquehanna Valley Theatre Organ Society has been accompanying silent films for over six decades, performing the scores by memory while watching the film. If you're a gothic horror fan, this screening will be a special treat to experience Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror as it was meant to be—in a historic theatre with the ominous chords of the theatre organ bringing Max Schreck's Count Orlok to life!
