Creekfire Creekfire is a free community event celebrating York, PA’s Codorus Creek and the vibrant WeCo District.

Join us for firepits, music, and fun for the whole family by the creek! The vision of Creekfire is to provide an opportunity for the community to engage and interact with the creek in a new way. We at Creekfire believe that attracting people to the Codorus Creek, through the event, will raise public awareness of how improved the water quality is, increase the community's pride in the creek and cre

October will be here before we know it, and one of our favorite community traditions is just around the corner! Creekfire is a free evening celebrating the Codorus Creek with glowing fire pits, live local music, family activities, food, and neighbors gathering together in Foundry Park.

With just about three months until our 2026 event, we're deep into planning!

Here's a look at what we've checked off the list so far:

✔️ Permits submitted
✔️ Vendors coming on board
✔️ Musicians being lined up
✔️ Sponsors joining the effort
✔️ Volunteers stepping up
✔️ Site planning in progress

There's still plenty to do here in WeCo York, PA, but every checkmark brings us one step closer to an unforgettable evening of music, food, community, and fun by the creek.

Did you know that planning for Creekfire 2026 started last November?

We had such a wonderful time hosting CreekFire 2025 that we were all eager to make progress on this year. Our local WeCo York, PA merchant group meets monthly, and CreekFire is always part of our discussion.

This year, we're hoping to add more music, more free food, and a SECOND face painter!
