I made these earrings back in 2020. They were inspired by historically iconic guillotine earrings, circa the French Revolution. Swipe to the end for a photo.

☀️ Rock in the Ruins 🌿

Yesterday was such a vibe!!! I vended at Rock in the Ruins out in Glen Rock & it was kind of magic 💛 The location is the remains of a former factory that a local small business purchased. They maintain it with help from the community (volunteers & visitors are asked to pull a couple weeds & grab any trash they might see as payment for using the space) & it’s utilized for tons of different events! Local artists are encouraged to tag the area to keep it vibrant & ever-changing. Plus there’s a river behind it tucked beneath a ton of trees! I did a lot of wandering & photo taking before the event started lol

Thank you to everyone who came out to support, the organizers & sponsors for putting on a KILLER market & music festival, & all the bands who made for a perfect (Misfits heavy) soundtrack for the day 🫡 (fiend for life)

I also put in photos of the two wet specimens I purchased from another vendor! An old high school in the area was clearing out their basement & Kristy (the vendor) bought some boxes of old specimens from the 70’s. She was selling them for only $5 each! 😭🤘🏼 I love my tiny horseshoe crab & jellyfish friends! (The jellyfish is giving SpongeBob vibes & I’m here for it lol)

I have three more events coming up in the next few weeks, so if you’re local, come out 😊🤘🏼I’ll be posting more info about them as the dates get closer.

Hi friends 💛

I still exist, & just started a new job! I accepted a full-time photography position with an auction house, & it still doesn’t feel real. If you’ve been here a minute then you know I’ve been trying to find my way back to photography for years. It’s finally happening 🥹

Other stuff: I’m still working on the long-term project I spoke about earlier this year! & I have four vending events coming up in the next two months 🤘🏼 Pictured in this post are OOAK wall art pieces that I’m working on for my booth.

I’m definitely in a weird transitional phase, but I can tell it’s all for the best. That’s what I keep reminding myself lol

Thanks for sticking around, I’m forever the most grateful 💛 I promise I’ll have new work to share once life settles down & I’m comfortable in my new routine 😅

Long Neck Solomon.

Acrylic painting inspired by ‘Gummo’ for ’s birthday! 💛

Featuring a tattoo of Pig William (from Val’s favorite childhood book), ‘Tusk’ face tattoo, & ‘Baskin’ keyhole forehead tattoo.

& tons of wiggly worms! Because they’re super fun to paint & match the Art the Clown piece I painted for Val for Christmas.
