I wanted to do The Empress justice since at .battle.york.lancaster part of the excitement is only having 20 minutes to make a painting. But I felt like I let The Empress down cause I knew I could do a better representation of her image at may 'normal' rate of painting, a few days to a week. Hahahah.

I like line, it's my natural way of making art. That, and the bold graphic colors. God, to think how I resigned myself in all these years...

Quite a night for the ARTS! I had the pleasure to participate in Art Battle US completion, held at Belmont Theater in York Pa, hosted by Creative York Gallery. 12 Artist, 2groups, 20 minutes to paint, voted on winners proceed to the next round and so on.
Fun times! Great experience, lots of good art and good people !

Painting tonight..

This is a horse who was rescued from an auction. A lucky guy. Most of them come in compromised, wounded, starved, lame and they go to slaughter when no one intervenes. 💔. They're in such rough shape yet they are butchered for human consumption. The world is full of horrors and this is one example.
