We invite you, young ones, family and friends to come explore, get to know the art work, learn about the local artists and have some fun. Come in this week!

😍 FREE and FUN ART WORKSHOPS for Children happen Saturday mornings at Blue Door Art Center.

🎨 Join us and teaching artist, Katori Walker, next Saturday, August 29th as we explore making colorful sculptures using yarn and popsicle sticks to spark young imaginations!

All children (ages 5-12) are welcome, no special skills required. Children with special needs are aways welcome. Supplies are provided. Just bring your creativity!

🌊 Make W.A.A.V.E.S (Writing, Art, Activism, Empowerment & Sharing) is happening TODAY! Join golda Solomon on Saturday, August 15 and/or August 22 (1-3PM) In-person and on Zoom.

😍 Make W.A.A.V.E.S with your creativity. The workshop facilitator(s)and special guest readers will make materials and packets available that stimulate and strengthen. Included will be visual prompts, poems, writers/authors, articles of interest, contributions from the workshop participants and always in a welcoming and supportive forum. The summer sessions will create cool poetry and other writings. Topics include: current issues, across the generations collaborations, poetry forms, storytelling. There is ample time for gentle editing and discussion. Sharing has been the key to success of this long time running series. And there are always surprises.
