✨ 20 years cancer-free today ✨
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at 16 years old.
The last 20 years have been a journey of healing, growth, and becoming.
There were times it felt challenging and lonely—but I’m proud of how I allowed that experience to shape me, not break me. My life today revolves around gratitude and well-being. 🌱 I’m grateful for the people who’ve walked beside me, the memories that held me, and even the mistakes that taught me. Every part of it mattered.
To honor this journey, I beaded this medallion and necklace set for myself. 🖤
The thyroid is often described as a butterfly-shaped organ that sits in the throat, and wearing this butterfly represents the healing I’ve done—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The blue beads reflect the throat chakra (Vishuddha), which is associated with truth, communication, self-expression, and healing through voice. 💙 It’s a reminder that my voice matters, my story matters, and my body deserves care and respect.
The black butterfly symbolizes transformation, resilience, rebirth, and protection. It represents moving through darkness and emerging wiser, stronger, and more grounded—honoring both the shadows and the light. 🦋
If you know someone who has survived cancer, or if you’ve lost someone to it, give them a little extra love today. 🤍 You never know how much it means.
