Standing Room Only Theater is moving into our NEW storage unit — and we need our incredible community more than ever!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. 💛 Your time, your muscles, your willingness to show up… it’s what keeps community theater alive in Yelm. We truly couldn’t do what we do without you.

We’re looking for 10–12 volunteers, but honestly, even 30 minutes of your time today makes a HUGE impact. Every box lifted, every costume rack rolled, every set piece carried helps us keep creating the shows you love.

Standing Room Only Theater is leveling up to a bigger storage unit, and we need our amazing community to help make it happen! 🎉

We’re looking for 10–12 volunteers 👬👭 to help lift, 💪 carry, and move our costumes, props, and set pieces.

🎭🌱 BIG NEWS FROM SRO! 🌱🎭

We’re beyond excited to announce that Charles Phillips will be returning to direct our upcoming production of Little Shop of Horrors! ✨Raised in the theater, Charles is an actor, director, designer, and creative leader with Standing Room Only Theater. He brings a sharp comedic eye, bold visual instincts, and a passion for storytelling to every project. His recent direction of Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple (Female Edition) brought sold‑out crowds to their feet, and his immersive creation Forgotten Yelms showcased his talent for world‑building and innovative audience experiences.From onstage moments to full visual identity, Charles shapes every corner of a production — and we can’t wait to see what he brings to Skid Row. 🌟🎶🎤

🎭 Standing Room Only Theater is seeking a Choreographer for Little Shop of Horrors!
Rehearsals run August–September, and a stipend is paid for this position.

Auditions will be July 9th-13th with times and location being announced soon!

We’re looking for someone who can bring bold character movement, tight ensemble staging, and a little sci‑fi swagger to Skid Row.

🌱 What We Need
- Choreography leadership — Someone confident shaping movement for a mixed‑experience cast.
- Musical theatre experience
- Collaborative spirit — Works closely with the director, vocal director, and cast.
- Availability in August and September — Rehearsals in Yelm, WA leading into October performances.
- Creative problem‑solving — Ability to adapt choreography to a community‑theatre environment.

Little Shop of Horrors is high‑energy, character‑driven, and full of opportunities for fun, stylized movement. From the Urchins to Audrey II, this show thrives on personality and rhythm.
