Hello YS Community Music lovers! Thank you for a wonderful season! There are a few more musical performances coming up:
1) the Yellow Springs Community Band will perform at Strawberry Fest, Friday, June 12, 2026, 7 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church;
2) the Semiquincentennial July 4th! Saturday, July 4, 2026, 8 p.m. at Gaunt Park; and
3) the Summer Concert in the Gazebo, Monday, July 13, 2026, 7 p.m. in Snyder Park, Springfield, OH

Eric Lipsitt, son of Donna Louise Lipsitt, writes: "I am not sure if there are still members of the YS Community Choir that my Mom would have sung with, but I wanted the organization to know of her passing. The obituary will be in the YS News this week (Feb. 6 issue). In the obituary, we have written that, in lieu of flowers, folks could make a donation to the YS Community Music organization in her honor.
