Philadelphia Scenic Works is a scenic arts workshop that provides access to high quality scenic fabrication & installation resources for theater companies and other cultural organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region. Services are subsidized and provided affordably to the reg

ion’s robust community of local theatres and artisans allowing them to maintain the highest artistic standards while providing for their subsistence and growth. Training opportunities exist for aspiring technical directors, scenic carpenters and scenic painters leading towards the development of a sustainable pool of highly fluent local scenic fabricators. Philadelphia Scenic Works also strives toward less wasteful practices, including the regular recycling of scenic materials and props and providing access to a communal stock.
