When I build my walnut frames … it’s like creating furniture for my art. This coastal landscape piece is titled “Fog Kissed Kelp” in Kettle Cove - Cape Elizabeth, Maine. It’s just one of the three pieces I had accepted into the 13th annual Yarmouth Art Festival 2021. It’s a fantastic event showcasing Maine art and artists. It’s also a community fundraiser. You can view full artwork & Show Catalog at www.yarmouthartfestival.com. Live show exhibition starts October 20-23 at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church. Yarmouth, Maine. Admission is free. Do you think ... it was a chance occurrence? While I painted a bluebird for a dear friend - there was one perched in the tree outside my studio window! I think not, as it stayed for the duration. It definitely delighted this and just thinking about it makes me smile again & again.
