✨ The 2026 Downtown Yakima Façade Improvement Grant Program is officially OPEN!

Today marks the beginning of another opportunity for downtown property and business owners to invest in the beauty, character, and long-term vitality of our historic downtown.

Tiffany Hein, Chair of the Downtown Association of Yakima Design Committee and owner of Whimsical Details, discusses all the important details about this year’s application process.

Since its launch, the Façade Improvement Grant Program has helped leverage significant private investment into Downtown Yakima, supporting restoration projects, storefront enhancements, lighting, accessibility improvements, and more.

Since opening in 2021, Catalyst Coffee has become a Yakima favorite. Its partnership with Single Hill Brewing has transformed the space into a true day-to-night gathering place.

James will share Catalyst’s story, how the collaboration came together, and what it means to create a “third place” for coffee, craft beer, meetings, events, and community connection.
