See you on Saturday, November 7th, in Downtown Yakima for the 10th Annual Sip & Stroll event — an afternoon full of local b**r, w**e, c***r, and spirits!

🎟 $25 ticket includes a sampling glass + 5 scrips (more available for $3 each)
📍 Check-in: Downtown Yakima, Check-in at the Downtown Assocaition office, 14 S 1st st (right next to key bank!)
🍷 Local producers will be pouring samples inside your favorite downtown spots.

THIS SATURDAY!!

Don’t forget, this Saturday is our annual Chalk Art Festival! Starting at 10am on the Corner of 2nd St. & Sgt. Pendleton Way, there will be 23 featured artists competing for over $400 in prizes, plenty of food and drink, live music, co****le, and free chalk for anyone else wanting to bring some art to the streets of Downtown!!

Anthony Garrett, Education Coordinator for CPRX, will introduce this veteran-owned local company and its approach to CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, Stop the Bleed, and emergency-response training.

A former Army National Guard combat medic, Anthony brings years of hands-on experience and a practical approach to helping businesses, organizations, and community members feel better prepared when an emergency happens.
Anthony will also share CPRX’s work with Cascadian Rhythm to expand public access to AEDs and increase the number of trained citizen responders throughout Washington.

Come learn more about how preparedness, training, and access to lifesaving equipment can make a real difference in our community.

Happy Tuesday!!

We can officially make our announcement that the 2026 Façade Grant has been awarded to Jacob James with the Dragon Inn Parking Garage, this whole building will start with a major face lift and will move into an interior remodel with various different retail spaces inside to create a lovely new opportunity for downtown businesses!!
