Like everything else, we are being affected by Covid. If we had been able to open as planned, we would have had to close soon after. We would still like to proceed after this is all done and we believe that there will be an even greater response from Yakima.

We appreciate all of our facebook friends that continue to follow our progress. During this trying time in dealing with COVID-19 we have realized that it was probably a good thing that things didn't go as planned with our project. If we had opened as planned, the virus would have shut us down just as we were starting and we would probably never been able to ever reopen. After the health situation has been resolved, we will take another look.😃

So far we have been unsuccessful in getting larger investors to commit funds to get Yakima Adventure Quest started. So, we are going to try a grass-roots approach. We are looking at a yearly membership that would give a family a 35% discount on admission. It could be used by any family member over 16 and would also admit an additional five guests at the reduced rate. The new rate would be $16.25 for ages 13+ and $10.50 for 7-12 for a two hour period. The anticipated cost would be $200.00 per year with a maximum of one visit per week. If this is of interest to your family, please like and share. We are aware that it has been quite some time since we updated everyone on what is happening with Adventure Quest. We appreciate that you are still supporting us. We have pretty much eliminated the space at the mall. It didn't really fit our needs and the lease would be more then a mortgage payment on our own building. We are looking forward to our meetings with possible investors this week. It will really give us a better feeling as to whether the movers and shakers of Yakima support our vision. During our mall meetings it was suggested that we replace the laser tag with multi-player virtual reality rooms. What do you think of this idea? Your comments are always appreciated.

Lots of great comments about the Mall option. First, the space is 30,000 square feet ( original plan called for 40,000) and the carousel, the kids play structure, and some of the Rollglider would be located on or above the first floor partly in the intersection of the main hallways. The floor above the main hallway from the West center entrance would be removed giving us a space with a 30-foot plus ceiling. Lots of things to work out, but they want something in that space and it could be a win-win situation. We will not sacrifice our goal of affordable family entertainment in a pleasant atmosphere to make this option happen.

Sorry to have been absent, we have been approached to use the food court area at the Valley Mall, we are looking at options.
