When I started Open Guard I was 40 years old. I had to train hard, improve my cardio, learn BJJ, boxing, fight professional fighters. Every part of my body was hurt. Now people have watched the pilot, they are asking for more episodes ? Problem is I am now 43 and u have to do all that again ??? 😱😱😱

This is a very special week: it is film festival week ! My film Open Guard will be screened during the 7th annual Queen City Film Festival and I simply cannot wait to attend the ceremony, screening and networking with other filmmakers. Most importantly, i am very excited to see the reaction from the audience as they discover what my film is about. Screening will be followed by a short Q&A and hopefully a few rounds of sparring with select audience members 🤣🤣🤣. If you are free this week end, I highly encourage you to buy tickets and show up. Trust the organizers in the quality of the programs and just sit and watch films after films. It is truly an amazing experience where you will watch films you will enjoy, film you will not like, film that will create emotion such as joy or anger, but most importantly you will have a great time while supporting artists working hard to create great movies. Questions about schedule, tickets etc, reach out to me And if you made it this far, I ll take any advice on outfit I should wear 😀

What a wonderful news to learn that is part of the official selection of the 7th annual Queen City Film Festival ! The festival will take place from October 18th to 20th at a few different venues in and around Plainfield, NJ, where we shot part of the film! I am really honored to be part of the most diverse film festival which also promotes education and professional development for filmmakers and cannot wait for it! I will post soon information for festival passes if anyone is interested in joining !
