“Born in Dublin, Ireland, grammy award-winning and BBC Award-nominated vocalist and songwriter Susan McKeown is widely acknowledged as one of the most powerful and innovative voices in folk music today. In a distinguished career, she has performed at Glastonbury, The Edinburgh Festival, Carnegie Hall and the Walt Disney Concert Hall and had her music featured on on PBS, NPR, PRI, BBC and RTE. Susan joins us with her trio featuring Kyle Sanna and Matt Mancuso .”

The Yachats Celtic Music Festival is back with another world class line up. Experience three days of music, Ceili dancing, whisky tasting, workshops, jam sessions, and delicious food, all in the beautiful seaside village of Yachats, Oregon.
This years roster features Breabach, One For the Foxes, Dreos, É.T.É , Susan McKeown, Andrew Finn Magill and Alan Murray, Lisa Lynne and Aryeh Frankfurter, and Marco Caturegli, our 2025 Piper on the Point.

Now in its 26th year this festival is a delight to all. The magical seaside village of Yachats is the ideal location for this festive event.

The festival offers many free opportunities to enjoy music, along with ticket required shows. Delicious meals, snacks and beverages, will be available on site. The Piper on the point, is a special highlight of the festival. Lose yourself as you bathe in the mystical experience of watching the sun set into the Pacific Ocean while enveloped in the happy harmonizing sounds of the bagpipes and the ocean.

Brought to Yachats by our friends at the Oregon Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann who seek to promote Irish traditional music in all its forms and provide educational opportunities to further it. They are particularly enthusiastic about the pairing of live music with set dancing, the learning and singing of traditional songs, and the cultivation of an Irish speaking community. We thank them for coming to Yachats.
