Let me introduce you to one of my latest pieces, and it's a commissioned work. It was created for a woman who fights every day, and even though she faces challenges, she never gives up; she always keeps moving forward.
Later, I will give you a description of the details of this piece and its meaning, and I will tell you about the person who trusted me to create this artwork.
For now, I'll show you a little of the process involved in creating this piece.

Coral Colmenares, a talented Mexican artist full of energy, light, passion and dedication with whom I had a pleasant conversation about her dedication to art and the growth she has had internationally — some of her works are found in Paraguay, Korea, the United States and, of course, Mexico. 🇲🇽✨
Thank you for sharing with me a little of your time, your experience, your passion for art and for exchanging gifts of art and gratitude—the gift you gave me—I loved it 💫

This weekend I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting the talented Mexican artist Coral Colmenares, originally from the state of Puebla. 🇲🇽
She is a participant in ArtPrize 2025 with her work titled "Popo and Ixtla... Fire and Passion."

This work evokes the power of the Popocatepetl volcano 🗻 and the serenity of the majestic Iztaccíhuatl mountain,🏔️ two giants that safeguard the legends of eternal love and are a profound part of Mexico's cultural richness.

Listening to Coral talk about her work, I felt her passion and pride for Mexico transform into art.

It reminded me of the power of love, of the inner fire, and of the roots that define us as people. ❤️🔥

Super happy, excited, and proud of my work.
Today I finished my participation in the DEFIANT! ART THAT TALKS BACK exhibition.
I'm grateful for Nancy Toledo for talking about my art to Annamarie Buller, in which led Annamarie to inviting me to participate in this exhibition. Also would like to thank Mr. Salvador for buying my four pieces.
Salvador was only interested in one piece, and when I showed him all the pieces, he liked them, and to my surprise, he bought all my pieces.
Thank you all for your support, and I hope to continue creating more art.

An annual fundraising event organized by Grandville Avenue Arts & Humanities.
An event in which we participated by donating two small but meaningful pieces.
A great event on a beautiful afternoon.
Food, dessert, music, a little dancing, lots of fun, a wide variety of items and art at auction.
