I am a disabled artist that loves to be able to custom design and make Western & Rustic themed furniture and home décor. Although it may take me a little longer than other craftsmen out there, (due to disability), I get the job done, and put my heart and soul into making a creation just for you. I go the distance to assure a quality product that you, the customer, can enjoy for years to come.

Well folks, Dakota Girls' Creations has taken a huge leap of faith, and has now moved to the eastern side of that ole' Mississippi. I will let everyone know when we can be 'back up and running' again, but for now, we are not taking orders unless they would be for small, hand painted, custom signs, or paintings. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. We hope to be back soon. A huge 'THANK YOU', to all our dedicated customers we have had the honor to work with over the years, we truly appreciate your confidence in us. :)

Beautiful, Handcrafted, Western Themed Mirror

Just finished up with this Gorgeous, Handcrafted and Custom designed mirror that would go great in a foyer, over a fireplace mantle, or even as a bathroom vanity. Constructed of a pretty pine, then lightly burned to add that 'rustic' flavor, and finished with high quality Polyurethane, this mirror speaks 'Western'. It is embellished with genuine, (NOT FAKE), hair on hide, and a mahogany, full grain leather, beautiful, gold toned nail heads, and gold 'antiqued' iron horse heads, horse shoes and Texas stars. If you look for good quality work in your home décor, at reasonable prices, I am your girl!

Locked N Loaded', is a 20 X 24" Original, Acrylic Painting on stretched canvas. Mounted in a 'One of a Kind', handcrafted, wood frame that has been burned by hand to bring out the beautiful grain, then embellished with gorgeous, hair on hide trim, horse head Conchos, silver nail heads, antiqued silver and black steel horse shoe, and horse heads and brought together with silver upholstery nails. Paintings that I have done from photographs for customers over the years, as well as some that I have for sale. Keep in mind that I can also frame these with handmade frames, (can be seen in the photo album, Mirrors and Frames) I love to paint from photographs, and especially love painting and drawing animals of all kinds, along with landscapes. I have just recently started to try my hand at people, but am a bit intimidated by my own desire to capture every detail...so, until I feel that I have perfected them by my standards, I would like to stay away from faces.
