This image feels like the moment before I learned to doubt brightness.

I remember being lifted just high enough to see a robins nest, the eggs, an impossible blue - so vivid it felt unreal, as if color itself were alive. That blue taught me how to look. It stayed with me.

I see it again here, in the way color moves freely, spilling, and overlapping, refusing edges. Light fractures, deepens, surprises itself. Nothing is still. Nothing is muted. The painting doesn’t describe the world – it remembers how it felt to meet it for the first time.

Looking at this now, I don’t feel pulled backward. I feel opened. The same wonder is present still circulating still available. The same in brightness, and joy that arrives without explanation.

This isn’t only memory held in paint,
It’s a reminder.

The blue is still there.
And so am I .

I’ve been using Squarespace for years as host to my website. All of ma sudden they won’t let me in to add info to my site unless I send them 2 papers that prove I’m me. I have used the same computer for over 10 years!! One proof I got early. The other I cannot find. They want a copy of my payment but I can’t find it. I sent them a letter they sent me in February 2024 saying I signed up for automatic payment but I can’t find the actual payment in my PayPal or credit card. I do have other credit cards I use less frequently. I am asking them to look up my info which they have and tell me the date and card I used so I can get a copy to send them.

Their customer service is terrible and when I called the corporate office they don’t answer - just tell you to call customer service.

I’m ready to chuck them and go to another website service. Any suggestions??
