“I always enjoyed the downtime that we got when we traveled for UIL. Whether it was piling in a room and watching My Little Pony and Barbie, playing pool in the lobby, or eating food, it always brought us closer together and made the stress of the competitions more bearable.”

“My favorite theatre memory is a tie between the chaos and laughter backstage during The Addams Family musical freshman year and the thrill of performing high-wire stunts as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast. From singing and dancing to the Backstreet Boys in the dressing room with Evan, Nico, Ethan, Casey, and Mani to learning how to “fly” during my transformation onstage, those moments felt absolutely unforgettable. They’re memories I’ll always carry with me long after my final bow and “retirement.”

“My favorite memory from my time in theatre has been our UIL one act retreat and all the dreams we had of Dracula (RIP). I loved it most because all of us got to be together under one roof and getting to cook with everyone, it felt like one big sleepover with my second family.”
