Been working on these mugs for over a year and a half… I should probably get them done before baby # 2 is here 🫣😂

Life and Business Updates!

I’ve been working on these mugs in tiny bursts of free time, and I can’t believe I’m finally saying they’re almost done!

Our little girl is 21 months old now, and we’re expecting our little boy in early October. I’m so fortunate to get to stay home full-time and soak up every minute with our babies, and so grateful to my husband for that gift! (This business never would’ve existed without him, either!)

This small restock will most likely be the only one for quite a while. Next year we’ll be selling our home to build one next door to my mom and aunt, and right around the corner from my sister 🥰 so, my studio will likely be packed up for a while through all of that. Lots of life changes, but all for the best!

Last year I did some experimentation with interior glaze combinations, and ended up with some of my favorite mugs I’ve made so far! My new collection will have lots of pops of color, just like this one. I can’t wait for you to see 🥰

Looking back at my work from last year, I realized I pulled this last batch of work out of the kiln 10 days before our little girl made her appearance! After the kiln unload came a few days of photographing, restocking my website, packing/shipping, Thanksgiving, hosting 7 houseguests for the holiday, and our yearly Black Friday mall day tradition. No wonder I went into labor a few weeks early😂

On November 25th we finally got to meet our sweet little girl, and we couldn’t be more in love! I’ll be taking a break for the next few months to enjoy this special time with my family. Being a mom has always been my dream job, and I couldn’t be more blessed and thankful. See you next year!🩷

Restock this Wednesday 7pm central!

It’s finally time for a restock! This batch has been 5 months in the making and I’m so proud of it. It’s one of the biggest batches I’ve made, with so many fun colors and flowers! This will be your last chance to grab one of my floral designs this year, since after my fall restock I’ll be taking my maternity leave to bring my baby girl into the world and spend time with my family.

Previews will be up on my website by tomorrow evening with photos and pricing. I hope you love these new designs as much as I do🥰

Big life update- We have a sweet little baby girl coming this December!!!

If you were wondering why I’ve been working on the same mug collection since March😅, and I hardly post anymore, now you know why! I’ve been working hard making a tiny human, which has completely wiped me out and challenged me in new ways. Turns out, growing a baby is hard!

While I choose to keep most of my personal life private and separate from my business, this is a huge life change that deserves to be shared and celebrated with you 🩷

I know some of you may be wondering what this will mean for my business moving forward. After this collection’s launch in a few weeks, I plan to make a small fall mug collection. Then, I’ll be taking my maternity leave to spend a few months with my family and adjust to my new life as a mom. From there, I’ll be transitioning from working full time, to part time.

While I’ll always be an artist, my dream job has forever been to be a mom. So while I may not have as frequent or large restocks in the future, know that I’m not going anywhere! 🩷

Do you keep your mugs on display, or in a cabinet? I love seeing pictures of your mug collections. This one is my mom’s! It’s fun seeing all my mugs at her house because it really shows how much I’ve grown over the years!
