✨ Women of Wyandotte ✨

The women behind Ivyroomevents- Wyandotte, Shannon and Emily, have been lifelong friends since middle school and spent years dreaming about opening a business together. When the opportunity to create Ivy Room presented itself, they knew it was time to turn that dream into reality.

While Ivy Room serves as a beautiful venue for celebrations and special events, Shannon and Emily's vision extends far beyond hosting gatherings. Both women have developed a deep love for the Wyandotte community and are passionate about creating meaningful experiences that bring people together. Throughout the year, they host events such as Galentine's celebrations, Easter tea parties, movie nights, and other community-focused gatherings that create lasting memories for local families.

As proud entrepreneurs, they continue to look for ways to meet the needs of the community. This summer, Ivy Room will launch a new program designed for work-from-home parents, offering co-working space paired with flexible drop-in childcare, providing parents with an opportunity to focus, recharge, and connect.

Their commitment to supporting families doesn't stop there. Shannon and Emily are also preparing to launch a nonprofit dedicated to empowering homeschooled, foster, and autistic children by providing resources, educational opportunities, and meaningful community connections both in Wyandotte and beyond.

Through friendship, vision, and a genuine passion for serving others, Shannon and Emily have created more than a business, they've created a space where community thrives.
