Here is a collection of visual references for colors, elements, design, and film styles, we are developing for the “LOOK” of the film.

Looking at many of these "pins" might lead you to think that it will be set back in time, but these are just a slew of elements to spark our imaginations, and find our tone.

It takes place present day, but just as its themes and tone of character hearken back to a more neighborly, community, and family oriented time that I remember from my 70’s / 80’s childhood, so to will some of the physical elements such as props, set dressing and wardrobe. It may be as if the people cling to these things to stay connected to that era, or that these items are symbolic of values that simply stand the test of time.
