Born and raised in Wyandotte, Michigan, Daisy is currently a junior at Roosevelt High School. A dedicated student-athlete, she participates in both varsity swimming and soccer, while also pursuing her passion for the visual arts. Her artistic practice spans multiple mediums, with a particular focus on graphite drawing, through which she explores emotional depth and conceptual themes. Her work frequently features motifs such as skeletons, animals, nature, and the human form.
Daisy is an active member of the National Art Honor Society, Art Club, and her schoolโs Video Productions and Broadcasting programs. She was recently recognized at the DAFT Film Festival, where her stop-motion short film The Acceptance of Sham received the award for Best Experimental Film.
For the 2025 Wyandotte Street Art Fair, Daisy created a piece titled Art and Dotte, rendered entirely in pencil to reflect her signature style. Drawing inspiration from her love of steampunk aesthetics and her studies in local history, she incorporated elements of Wyandotteโs industrial legacyโspecifically the role of Eureka Iron Works in early steel production. The piece features the characters Art and Dotte working on the historic clock tower on Biddle Avenue, symbolizing their intrinsic connection to the cityโs heritage.
Posters and t-shirts will be available at the Information Booth at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair.
