Hey everybody, Austin from Eureka here with some very exciting news.
Last month, Daniel Zasadny and I conducted an open call for new engineers in the wake of our partner Tyler's move to Chicago. The response was far greater than we could've ever expected or hoped, and I'm still equally shocked and humbled to know just how many of you highly passionate and talented folks see the value in this little space and what we're doing here.
We must've spoken to at least a dozen of you, and your collective talent level made it very difficult for us to reach a decision! But I'm here to say that as of this month, we've successfully filled our partner positions at the studio.
Congratulations and a warm welcome to Anton Filyayev, Ryan Malicsi, and Esean Flx Evans, our new partner engineers at Eureka Records! Anton will be available to book from this month onward, with Ryan and Flex starting in August.
Each of these new engineers share a spirit of collaboration and collective growth that Dan and I feel is a critical part of how we do things at this studio. But as individuals, they bring something unique to this place, from the musical style they like to work on, their production methods, and even their skills outside of music. I'm personally very excited to see how each of their unique perspectives will help shape this place in the months to come.
Again, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you who responded to our open call, especially those of you who came out to the studio for an in-person interview/tour/hang. I hope you can still see the studio as a creatively-viable space, whether for your own music or sessions as a guest engineer, but regardless I wish you all great success in this big music thing we're all doing together.
