My favorite part of working with resin is how the blues blend with one another, giving depth and dimension. It was always where the blue hues changed from light to dark/dark to light were my favorite parts of the ocean to study and stare at. Being able to see where the channels and reef were more clearly, where the ocean was the deepest, and where it looked like it dropped off into oblivion. These moments always made me feel lost & at home all at once. That next breath was my favorite - always so clearing and peaceful.

Hey yโ€™all! Its been a little while. Iโ€™ve been meaning to introduce myself - Iโ€™m Tanner ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ. The lady behind this account. My sister (check out her stuff - sheโ€™s amazing!) introduced me to this medium a little over a year ago and something just clicked and felt right. Iโ€™m here creating and exploring and am so happy yโ€™all are here for me to share it with ๐Ÿค. I so appreciate all the love & support ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ. I try to pour when I can, it really brings me so much peace and joy! I am a stay at home mom with 2 little ones who keep me very occupied. I have to be very careful to not pour around them, which being a stay at home mom makes it challenging ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜†, so I will be in and out, creating and sharing and then taking some time for my biggest honor - being a mom. These pieces are made from the heart and soul, inspired by my time in Hawaii and now in Wilmington, NC. My husband introduced me to surfing several years ago and I absolutely love it - especially when I actually catch a wave ๐Ÿคช. Surfing made me fall in love with the ocean even more. This art takes me to some of my most favorite, peaceful and happiest places and memories. I remember snorkeling on Oahu and seeing one of these guys below. He was maybe 4 feet and swimming along the bottom below us, uninterested in what we were doing. We were in pretty deep waters, swimming along the outside of a rock line and I looked out into the deep blue and debated if I should keep swimming or bust my feet walking back on the lava rock. ๐Ÿค
