How amazing would it be if we made September 25th a National Dolly Day — and celebrated it by doing something Dolly would absolutely love? ❤️
What if everyone who can made a small donation to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library?
Imagine if millions of people gave even $1, $5, or whatever they could. What an incredible way to honor Dolly’s legacy and help make sure her gift of books and imagination to children never has to depend on government funding.

September 25th. National Dolly Day.

I can't think of a more perfect way to celebrate Dolly than by helping her dream continue to reach children everywhere.
She would love that. And honestly… I think it would be perfect.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are handing over a whole day of business to Dolly's books.

They are calling September 25 Dolly Day at Friends in Low Places, their bar on Broadway in Nashville. Every dollar that register takes that day goes to the Imagination Library. Trisha put it plain. Whatever the cash register says at the end of the day is going to Dolly's passion.

The date is 9/25, for "9 to 5."

And they are not doing it once. It becomes an annual thing at that bar.

Garth's line was that Dolly is proof if you spend your whole life loving, you will live forever.

Few new things in shop .
From the author that brings you Dayton ghost and legends, murder and mayhem in Dayton and the Miami valley and murder in Victorian Dayton we now have Dayton Cold Case playing card decks.
Super interesting stuff and I find it neat that it is bringing awareness to these long lost cases and maybe somewhere someone will see this and bring new information to light to give answers to these families and to know that they are not forgotten.
We are also introducing Chris McCall art to the fall lineup.

If you’ve spent any time in Dayton’s art, tattoo, or music community, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Mike Guidone, owner of Monkey Bones Tattoo. Mike has always been the kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation. Now, he needs our support.

Mike was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and is facing ridiculous medical bills while taking time away from work for treatment. We’re coming together as a community to help ease that burden.

Join us on Sunday, August 30th at NextDoor Bar • Dayton’s Oregon District from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM for a benefit featuring:

-Local Art Show
-Silent Auction
-Raffle

Silent auction bidding begins at 2:00 PM and closes promptly at 7:00 PM.
